Verizon Business and Visionable Expand Connected Healthcare Partnership

London, England – Verizon Business and Visionable, a leading U.K.-based health technology company, announced today that they are expanding their partnership that will enable the two companies to use Visionable’s patented technologies, powered by Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband and 5G Edge Networks, in the U.S.

Verizon and Visionable are partnering to develop a secure next-generation digital healthcare collaboration platform that enables healthcare professionals to access data, collaborate and share resources across Asia Pacific and EMEA. The partnership aims to address some of the biggest challenges in healthcare, including connecting frontline responders with specialist physicians during emergencies and providing community-led care for patients who need long-term support.

Today’s announcement follows Visionable’s launch of a 5G-enabled private connected medical centre in the UK in May.
