British stone. LOUIS – Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and so is one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year.
Big retailers offer promotions on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but you can help your neighbors by supporting local small businesses on Small Business Saturday.
American Express launched Small Business Saturdays in 2010 as a way to help small businesses gain exposure. Over the past decade or so, the day has grown into a national event with participating businesses and markets in all 50 states.

Central and Western District
The Midwest is home to dozens of local shops and restaurants. This Saturday, you’ll find festive spirit, well-stocked coffee and hot chocolate, festive buskers, and giveaways for the first 250 shoppers.

urban foundry
City Foundry STL will host its first holiday bazaar of the season on Saturday, and Small Businesses at the Foundry will also be offering promotions.
Over the next four Saturdays, these markets will feature over 100 local vendors on the Foundry Way.
Downtown St.Louis
There are no Small Business Saturday events in downtown St. Louis. Louis, but the business community has a variety of shops and restaurants to support. Check out the list here.
Kimswick
Shops in Kimmswick invite you to stop by this weekend. More than 25 small businesses will be offering great merchandise and special offers throughout the day.

Kirkwood Community Center
The Kirkwood Community Center will be hosting its 4th Annual Small Business Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The free event will feature products and designs from local businesses and crafters, a raffle to raise money for local nonprofit Show Me Care Bags and other events.

Southern Hotel
South Grand’s business community invites locals to come and visit the shops and restaurants and end the day under the lighting of the Christmas tree in Ritz Park.A full day of shopping at the South Grand with tree lighting from 4:30pm to 6pm
