This time of year, many people are on the road to see aspen and stop in mountain towns, which means welcome to business.
Several businesses along Mountain Road told KOAA News5 they saw their income drop as children returned to school.
Then, November is usually one of their slowest months. But during the autumn aspen season, they saw a surge in customers who happened to stop by and others who made it a tradition.
The most popular reason to stop at the grocery store is ice cream.
Expecting a lot of people this weekend, the staff spent the day making extra waffles.
