The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce has opened registration for businesses wishing to have a booth at the annual business expo scheduled for Thursday, February 2. 23 years old at the Radisson Santa Maria Hotel.
This year’s business expo will be Western-themed with an added component — a job fair for businesses looking to hire new workers, a chamber spokesman said.
The event will be free and open to the public from 11am to 2pm, giving businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services to new and existing customers.
Some businesses will provide free samples, swag and drawings to the public.
Business owners and executives can also network at the expo with people from other companies, the spokesperson said.
The Chamber will host a “Best Booth” competition and award prizes for the winners.
Chamber members6 who register before January will pay $150 for a booth; after that, the price will be $200.
Businesses can also list their business on a postcard for $50 at one of 15 locations available on Event Passport.
Members of the public who get cards stamped by all 15 stall operators will be eligible to win prizes.
