Nvidia says it doesn’t expect new U.S. exports to affect its business

Oct 7 (Reuters) – Nvidia Corp (NVDA.O) said on Friday it did not expect a major impact on its business from new U.S. export control rules that ban the shipment of chips to Chinese supercomputing systems.read more

Nvidia said it was already bound by the rules, which it disclosed to investors last month, saying they could affect its $400 million in sales in China in the current quarter.

“We do not expect the new controls, including sales restrictions on high-density systems, to have a significant impact on our business,” the company said in a statement.
