NORTH ST. PAUL, Minn. — “God is on our side,” Corley said, reflecting on a beautiful day that turned out to be for his event.
Lee owns the Wolman Muay Thai Gym. He teamed up with Lue Thao, owner of Cypher Side Dance Studio, to host a “Trunk-or-Treat” event for the community.

“We’re trying to keep kids off the streets. Trying to give them a reason to not have to be on the street or anything,” Lee said.
Lee also runs a nonprofit, Right Path to Miracles. The group helps with homework and teaches kickboxing as well as many other skills.
“How does it work, how does the social network work. We try to get them to go camping, field trips, and other options that they may not have had before,” Lee said. “In their hearts, every child is a champion. Every child is a champion in society. We want to show them that they are champions in this world.”
Organisers hope to have around 600 guests at the event. They said they exceeded that goal. Baskets are also auctioned to support Right Path to Miracles and other efforts to support children.
