Duhon will use his 25 years of experience in nonprofit management, workforce development and food service to execute the institute’s mission of educating diverse communities to sustain the hospitality industry. For the past six years, he served as executive director of Café Reconcile, a nonprofit that helps young people prepare for the workforce.

Before running Café Reconcile, he was Director of Philanthropy at Second Harvest Food Bank.

Shows and Zatarain will join Louisiana Hematology Oncology Associates.

Shows received his medical degree from Louisiana State University College of Medicine, New Orleans. He completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at LSUHSC in Shreveport.

Zatarain received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her internship and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She serves as Chief Resident and Principal Investigator in her respective training programs.

Aldin Hirsch with christie gaubertnurse practitioners and several other team members who work closely with Shows and Zatarain will join them at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.

Shows will have clinics in Baton Rouge, Gonzales and the Baton Rouge Consolidated Campus, while Zatarain will practice in the Women’s Hospital and Cancer Center physicians’ offices on Essen Lane.

Mary Beth Wilkerson already joined adams and reese Served as the Government Relations Coordinator for the Baton Rouge office.

Wilkerson is a former public policy manager for the Louisiana chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and a former government affairs associate for the Louisiana Medical Society.

She has a BA in Communication and Information Science from the University of Alabama.

Scott Bardwell Will serve as Chairman of the Board in 2023 Greater Baton Rouge Home Builders Association.
