Mayor Barra and Hoboken Business Alliance announce return of Hoboken Harvest Festival

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the Hoboken Business Alliance today announced the return of the Hoboken Harvest Festival, an annual fall celebration for Hoboken youth that was suspended for 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

The festival returns to Pier A Park in October. Free activities for Hoboken youth on the 22nd from 11am to 3pm, including trackless trains, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, hay maze, pony rides, live music and more.

For the first time this year, the Harvest Festival will also combine a craft market and a marketplace from 11 am to 6 pm along the waterfront walkway from 1st to 4th Streets. The market is using vendors for the fall arts and music festival to bear fruit, which was canceled this year due to the remnants of Hurricane Ian.

“I am delighted to welcome the return of this year’s Hoboken Harvest Festival so our families, friends and neighbours can come together again to celebrate autumn,” Mayor Barra said. “This year’s festival is back and better than ever, thanks to the partnership of the Hoboken Business Alliance to ensure its successful return. I encourage everyone to come and enjoy the live music and festivities on our waterfront on 22 October. ”

“The Hoboken Business Alliance is delighted to be sponsoring the return of the Hoboken Harvest Festival,” Roxanne Earley, executive director of the Hoboken Business Alliance, said. “The Alliance believes that the Hoboken-wide approach helps bring our community to life, where everyone can come to play and stay, and events such as the Harvest Festival provide us with an opportunity to engage residents, visitors and businesses more deeply Find out what’s great about Hoboken – these Hulu A Pier views, and family-friendly fall fun. ”

For the return of the Harvest Festival, The Americana Family Jamboree, Zydeco Revelators and Rockness Music will perform throughout the day.
