Lubbock area business news including openings, holiday stories

Hello AJ Readers!

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, the business news this week has been pretty light. Business stories this week include Salata Salad Kitchen’s search for a franchisee, American Land Title’s entry into the Lubbock market and Lubbock Electric Co.’s change of ownership. A reader tipped us off about the change of ownership, and I want to thank all the readers who have sent us great tips and advice. It does make a difference.

Looking ahead, we’ll have more holiday stories, year-end recaps, and some great newsroom features. Stay tuned as we work to end 2023 on a high note.

The best of the week is Savage Tavern at 1625 University Ave. for their Hawaii 5.0 citizenship. I saw many people recommending their brunch, but I decided to check out their lunch on a Monday. The burgers were huge, served with a heap of french fries, and tasted good.

As always, thanks for reading and supporting AJ.
