Lady Buffs Ranked 14th in AVCA Coaches Poll


Lexington, KY – Lady Buffs at West Texas A&M moved to 14th In the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) secondary coaches poll, announced Monday afternoon.

Wayne State remains at the top of the national rankings after taking all possible 47 first-place votes. MSU Denver came in second, followed by Concordia-St. Paul, Tamp and Nebraska-Kearney rounded out the top five. WT is the only school in the top 25 in the Lone Star Conference, and UT Tyler is taking ballots.

WT hits the road this weekend when the Lady Buffs head to the Midwest state on Friday, October 10th. 7, ahead of the Texas Women’s game on Saturday, October. 8. After the road game, the Lady Buffs will host a midweek game at The Box on Tuesday, Oct. 2 against The Box in southwest Oklahoma. 11.
