Kim Kardashian gave a two-hour workshop at Harvard Business School on Friday (20.01.23).
The 42-year-old star – who has launched several successful brands in recent years – spoke to students about her experience in the business world.
One of the students, Liz, later told NBC4 Boston: “I think a lot of people disrespect her because she’s someone who co-runs a multi-billion dollar company.”
Kim, who launched her SKIMS brand in 2019, was spotted leaving Harvard Business School after her speech and getting into a waiting SUV.
But before she left, King told waiting reporters she loved the city of Boston and waved to some students.
Kim, meanwhile, has previously claimed that she doesn’t care what people think of her.
The brunette beauty hit back at her critics, saying her brilliance lies in “the business behind marketing and selling products”.
When asked about her talent and the key to her success, Kim explained: “I thought, ‘Okay, we’ve got a TV show.’ But just because we don’t sing and dance and act on the show doesn’t mean Fame doesn’t come from that.
“But, I would write it as a hashtag, which is not bad for a girl with no talent, because people used to say, ‘Well, what do you do? What’s your talent?’ I was like, ‘No Knew I needed one.’
“I mean, I can give you a million fucking talents. I can cook and do anything with my toes. I can tell you the weirdest f******s on the planet* **But I think my talent is marketing and selling the business behind the product, knowing what the customer wants and making it feel achievable but a little out of reach at the same time.
“I wouldn’t say it was talent, I think it was a bit of magic and business acumen. Maybe it was talent, I don’t know.”
