Huntsville, Alabama (WHNT) – On Friday, the Huntsville Metro Black Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual business conference and expo.
The event started at 8:00 am and ended at 4:00 pm after many black business owners from North Alabama advertised their work.
Vendors who attended the event, such as Lindsay Pollard, said it provided them with a great opportunity to network and advertise their business.
“This is the first time I’ve actually set it up, so it’s a really good event for me to be able to introduce it to everyone.”
Attendees, including Charles Gardner, owner of Synergy Strength Systems, also commented on how the event brought their communities together to experience each other’s work.
“That unity, and working with people who have the same drive to want to improve themselves and their communities and reach out.”
