FSU celebrates groundbreaking ceremony for its new business school

Tallahassee, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University is celebrating the groundbreaking of its new business school, which FSU says is one of the largest events in the business school’s 72-year history.

Nearly 400 people, including city and county leaders, as well as FSU supporters, came Friday afternoon for the new building for the FSU Business School, a $120 million project.

The new Legacy Hall will be 280,000 square feet across five floors, including a financial trading room and a 300-seat auditorium.

It will be located behind the Donald Tucker Civic Center on the corner of Madison and South Macomb streets.

Since 1958, the Business School has been housed in the Rovita Commercial Building.

The new facility will be the largest academic space on campus… expected to be completed by summer 2025.
