Amazon has revealed the dates for a new two-day global shopping event exclusive to Prime members, dubbed the Prime Early Access Sale. It’s basically another Prime Day, but just before Black Friday.
This kind of sale, if it’s anything like Prime Day itself, could be a year-end boon for small business sellers on Amazon.
Amazon has announced that it will launch Prime Early Access deals in October. 11-12
The event will begin at midnight PDT on October 11 and end 48 hours later on October 12. Prime members will get exclusive early access to holiday deals from brands like Peloton and New Balance, and the lowest prices of the year on select products from brands like Caudalie, Murad and Philips Sonicare.
The first “Top 100” list
Amazon will also launch its first-ever Top 100 list, featuring some of the best deals from brands like Hasbro, iRobot, KitchenAid and Samsung.
During the event, Prime members will be getting up to 80% off select Fire TV smart TVs, and will save even more on Alexa-enabled devices. Other top brands offering big deals for the event include LEGO, Adidas, Furbo and Ashley Furniture.
Deep discounts and exclusive offers
Expanding on the campaign, Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, said, “We’re excited to help Prime members kick off the holiday season with Amazon’s new Prime Early Access sale—a way members get Exclusive opportunity for deep discounts. We know they’re looking for brands this time of year. Members can start now with exclusive Prime deals and deals, as well as find gift ideas for the family with our holiday gift guide and this year’s list of our favorite toys .”
Availability and Engagement
Prime Early Access Sale will be held in 15 countries including Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK and US.
Current Prime members are already eligible, but non-members can participate by signing up for Amazon Prime today or by starting a 30-day free trial.
