The largest U.S. automaker has pulled paid advertising on Twitter after Elon Musk completed its acquisition of the social media company.

Musk then tweeted on Friday that the social media platform would form a review board with “broad and diverse views” and “won’t make major content decisions or account reinstatements” before meeting.

In a later tweet, he said the company “has not yet” made any changes to its content moderation policies.

Musk has previously promised to overhaul the service by getting rid of fake accounts and ensuring it’s a place where “a range of beliefs can be discussed in a healthy way.”

Donald Trump – arguably once Twitter’s most famous user – is one of those who can recover his account.

The former president was banned after the January 2021 siege of the U.S. Capitol for allegedly inciting violence for two of his posts.
